Due to dense fog the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway witnessed the biggest pileup ever in the district with over 22 vehicles crashing into each other in the wee hours of Tuesday.

Even though the 23km e-way falls in the jurisdiction of four police stations, eyewitnesses said not a single PCR van reached the spot till almost eight hours after the incident. The incident occurred about 10 kilometres from Pari Chowk in Greater Noida when speeding vehicles rammed into a stationary Eicher truck due to thick fog and poor visibility.
